Posted January 4, 200520 yr I recently got a cable modem & high speed internet service. The ethernet card works, the system says I have an IP adress, the problem is there is something blocking me from going on the internet. I have Norton but have no known firewalls. The cable/internet techs they've done everything they could. Please help me find a solution.
January 5, 200520 yr FPCH Admin Try this: Open cmd.exe type ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew Try the connection again. If it still doesn't work try ipconfig /all and post the results. Another Forum - Unlike the Rest
