I say this cause I live outside the US therefore is cheaper than were I live...
April 1, 200420 yr I'm not seeing you getting that stuff through normal channels for under a couple of grand. If you know a guy, you can get it for $1000, but latest model stuff doesn't come cheap. I'm seeing at least a few hundred each for the proc, gfx card, and memory. With the big HDDs and fast mobo, the price gets pushed even higher. April 1, 200420 yr FPCH Admin The last box I built was a Shuttle XPC SB61G2 barebones. It has eveything you listed above except for monitor andvideo card and the processor is a 3.2Ghz@800Mhz. It has one WD 200 Gig HD. Total cost was $859 Add in vid card, extra hd and monitor and it would be about $1400 or more. Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
April 1, 200420 yr Author Well they guy claimed he had a special insiders deal with a local wholesaler and that the finale quotation for that was around $1000USD, I said he was nuts but I had to check with the prices in the US, so there is no chance even with a big wholesaler afterall? I also think its rubbish since those prices are yet to be blunted in the border.... thanks for the replies guys!
April 2, 200420 yr If you've got an inside deal, its totally possible that someone will unload a pile of components for really cheap.
