ICTAA Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 Hi Folks, Im new here and just popped my head in looking for some help on software I require. Imagine you have 10 laptops that you give out to members off staff regularly for a certain amount off days. Now imagine that these members of staff are a bit reluctant to return these laptops? Lets say you want to give out a laptop to someone for 3 days lone. Is there any software out there that you can use to make the laptop stop functioning after this time period has elapsed? Forcing them to return the goods as they are no longer any use to them? All help appreciated. Andy Quote

Job Scheduler? I schedule a job, for example screensaver to activate on a set day and password protect it. Or schedule anthing to happen on a specific day and repeat every minute "Freecell even" and password it, this would sulely bug someone enough to return the laptop?? To get arround that you could set your self up as admin and then set the user up as a regular user. They couldnt' remove the task then. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
