Posted March 4, 200420 yr When I recently upgraded from Win98se to XP, I noticed that the font on my main page defaults to medium. I like the one smaller but when I go offline and try again later, it's back to medium text. I searched in Help but found no solution. What gives?
March 13, 200420 yr Author What do you mean by main page? Do you mean the windows desktop? Yahoo is my screen page. I have a personalized page that comes up when I'm first online. That's the page that won't let me set default to font size. I click view and it gives me five choices. Whatever I choose should stick but when I go offline and get back on next time, font is large again. This has only happened since the upgrade to XP.

If you upgraded you brought over all the Win98 bugs with it, plus having to migrate the registry over as well I am sure did not go flawlessy and this could be the source of your problem. You would be better suited to wiping your HDD clean and doing a fresh install,
March 17, 200420 yr I agree with the magicman. Best thing to do is a clean installation. You don't want to bring in the problems of an upgrade with the new XP installation. It kind of defeats the purpose.
