wattsup Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Okay how would I change my admin password for every pc on my LAN without going to each station? Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted February 18, 2004 FPCH Admin Posted February 18, 2004 You can telnet in to do it. That would be the only way I can think of. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
wattsup Posted February 18, 2004 Author Posted February 18, 2004 forgot to add I am using win2k on all machines. Does that make a difference? Quote
alex Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 You can run a .vbs file on a server to remotely do it. But it always leads to errors when I've done it. Ended up having to touch up a few machines afterwards anyway. EDIT: Also, are you running Active Directory on your network? Quote
Rapmaster Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 There are several ways-- you can use the Computer Management MMC (a bit tedious), a third-party tool like Hyena (it does a lot more... but $$$) or the Microsoft way: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;272530 Quote
