I just noticed this on the front page:

Most users ever online was 127, 12-25-2003 at 04:05 AM.

Either there were a lot of geeks with nothing to do Christmas morning or this site got hit pretty good by a pack of spiders..

It was probably spiders. 127 people generally don't suddenly appear and then go away, none of them registering. :p

Well its weird because we still only have 18 members.

As VF said, it was probably just a group of agressive spiders, if that had been people we'd have picked up a few members at least..

I was wondering the same thing. I looked at the logs and it was spiders. Seems all of them hit at the same time. The same thing happened at the .net forums when it first opened.

I would think that in the next couple weeks we will see an increase in traffic and users.

That's too bad we could have used some members around here.
