Posted December 23, 200320 yr Hello all. I just entered the world of WinXP about 3 weeks ago. I had visited Bob Gibson's grc.com and ran the XP fixes he offers. I'd like to suggest a WinXP Install FAQs so new XP users like myself can easily learn what to turn off and why, such as Universal PlugNPlay. Maybe also offer information such as WinXP's attempt to connect to Microsoft just by hitting the F3 key on the desktop to bring up the search window (thanks to Kerio Personal Firewall for pointing this out.)

Really, it probably stems from him being extremely knowledgeable about computers and forgets all that is not obvious to even the most learned computer professionals.

He's been debunked so many times by so many different organisations and people its not even funny. He claims to make apps, but they never ever get released. December 24, 200320 yr FPCH Admin There isn't a person in the security field that has one iota of respect for him. He spreds fud and does so in a manner that makes real security experts dislike him. His claims have been debunked so many times it's laughable. A person that visits his site, if they don't know anything about the internet or computers, will come away thinking that they can be hacked by just turning the box on.
