Guest VictorAndrei Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Hello, A few days ago the power shut down for half a second but the computer did't stopped working , it got to restart until the power shut down again in the middle of the process and then he restarted again , but I thinked that is better to unplug it to prevent him to restart again... When I tried to start it , after the ,,Welcome,, image I got just the wallpaper and no taskbar or icons . I tried to open task manager , right-click , but nothing worked . I got the Windows CD and tried to repair it , but when the computer started installation process (it said that it will be complete in 39 minutes) I got a FATAL ERROR ... It was error code 80096001 , a problem with the CD signature ... My CD is original , I have the product key and everything ... I want to keep my files ...and the fixes found on most web sites involved options that I can't use because I can't open anything... Please HELP me! Continue reading... Quote
