I have had a problem with my computer and had to clean it right back to new, it was windows 7 and now I want to rechange it to windows 8 which I had before the problems. Now it will not accept. Is this because I have already used the product key before. It is on the same computer, just that I need to reload it

Laptop or desktop? Either way all you need to do is restore the Recovery Partition. Let us know make and model and we will give you instructions on how to do that.
