Civilization Revolution 2 is now available for iPhone and iPad

For those of us who have been eagerly awaiting the release of Civilization Revolution 2 on iPhone and iPad will be able to rejoice as 2K has

on the Apple App Store. We previously enjoyed some hands-on time with the mobile revival of the turn-based strategy game, which is well worth checking out before looking at the price and making the move to download.

Many are skeptical when it comes to sequel reboots, but there are a handful of new things in Civ Rev 2. There are new wonders to explore, new units to recruit and some familiar faces like JFK and Churchill. There are also some new scenarios, including a Revolutionary War-themed one, which fits in nicely with Independence Day (July 4, for those who don't reside in the US).

Do note that Civilization Revolution 2 is compatible with iPhone 4S (or newer), iPad 2 (or newer), iPad mini 1 (or newer), and iPod touch 5. Android users will also get the title but no date has been shared.
