Need to format computer, reinstall windows 7 but I have no install CD?

Help!

I am giving my laptop to a family member and want to format the hard drive and re install windows 7 that came with the laptop. I have NO CD's however. I am a little lost in where to get the boot program to save to USB?

Any help would be appreciated! Cheers
