To get to those price points, however, it eschews cutting-edge specs. It's not the fastest processor or highest-end camera. It's simply the least expensive, most portable way way to get onto iOS and the App Store. So what does that mean for the experience? How productive and how much fun is it to use? To answer those questions we turned to our our ace 5-year old and 8-year old review team — my god children. Both are iPod touch users. Both use the iPod touch to pictures and videos, to share photos and make movies, to stay in touch with their extended families, to keep up with their school work, and to learn more about the world around them.
