Bypassing the Mouse Button-Switch

Hi, for various reasons, I prefer to have the left and right mouse buttons switched when I use the computer, however there are certain games, such as Skyrim, FarCry 3, and PAYDAY 2, that seem to ignore the switch, and use the default buttons.

 

 

I assume this means that the games retrieve the mouse clicks at the same time as the windows system, without waiting for them to be switched.

 

 

Is there any way to mend this so that I can play games the way I want?
