Original title: Unable to reinstall win8

I tried to re-install windows 8 into my laptop today from a recovery disk that I got from Samsung and windows wouldn't boot. The first time I run the software recovery it got windows up and running again. However, 5 hours later after I turned it off for awhile, windows refused to boot and I was right back at square one again.

Does anyone know what might be wrong with the computer? I was beginning to think that the HDD was going bad, then again,I might be wrong. Can someone help before I am forced to go buy another computer?
