Keyboard input is not working

I bought simmtronics mother board two years back and I still have warranty. But for some time my computer is not working fair. My keyboard input is not working so good, though my keyboard is working fine. When i type a word document suddenly the num lock goes off I can't type anymore for a while. After some time the num lock turns on again and after that I can type. This happens again and again. But from yesterday I can't use my keyboard at all. When I unplug my keyboard and plug it, there is a pop up at the bottom saying new hardware found and then your hardware might not work properly an error has occurred during installation of the hardware. If there is any solution please let me know. Because I can't use my computer with out the keyboard. For your information my keyboard working fine with other computers, only in my computer I have this problem. It is a USB keyboard. Really need your help.. Thanks in advance.
