Original Title: aspire v5. keyboard lights up but screen is black

 

 

Hi , as above the screen on my sons aspire v5 . the keyboard lights up but the screen is dead ( black)

 

There is nothing happening on the screen , no touch availability .... Is it the machine or a virus ...

 

 

What can you recommend ( bar sticking it in the bin )
