Battery discharges very fast after formatting my laptop

Hello,

 

I have an Acer Aspire 5755G laptop which I bought about 2 years ago. Along with Windows & my friend had also installed Linux Mint on my laptop. It worked very well when it was bew and for the first year or so I had no problem. But thereafter it started slowing down and until a fortnight ago it was agonizingly slow. So I resorted to formatting it and reinstalling Windows. I also installed all the drivers, updates, etc. But ever since I formatted it, the battery has been discharging very fast. Where earlier I had a very good backup of upto 4hours, now it discharges in under one and a half. I would like to know if someone could help me out and point out the problem with my system. I have not installed and dont play games on this system. I always use minimum brightness and power saver settings. If anyone knows the solution to this problem please give suggestions.
