Guest Drummerdude1099 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Hey guys! So I recently started a new online business venture, and I knew we would need a web site. To start off, I consider myself good with computers and a Windows power user (GUI stuff though, not much backend knowledge). After some research, for at least the beginning of my company, I decided I should run a Linux-based web server from my home network. I built a nice PC and installed Ubuntu on it, and now I am lost. I definitely have bitten off more than I can chew. Is anyone out there willing to help me get my server up and running? And for the record, I have tried Ubuntu's website's guide on a LAMP server, but after running a bunch of commands on that guide, nothing really happened (it seemed like it installed, but I can't find the program). Thanks for your help!!!! -Gabe Continue reading... Quote
