Guest AH23 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I just got my Windows 8 tablet yesterday, and downloaded the updates around dinnertime. The updates themselves took a good ~5-6 hours to download, and then installing them took just as long if not longer. It crapped out on me about 4 hours ago, and since then I've been seeing "Failure configuring Windows features. Reverting changes. Do not turn off your computer". Obviously I don't want to turn off my computer, but I don't know what else to do. The tablet in question is an ASUS Vivotab Smart, running whatever factory settings came with Windows 8 upon release. I noticed that, before installing updates (which I did in desktop mode), none of the updates in the app store would work either; I continuously tried updating apps, only to have the app store freeze on me. I was never even prompted to install any updates, I had to find them manually. Continue reading... Quote
