Red Hat Linux install problems.

I recently purchased a used Dell PowerEdge 1950 II server

pre-configured with a copy of windows server 2008 evaluation

edition installed. as you know the evaluation edition only lasts 60 days before it expires, So i purchased a new copy of Red Hat Linux enterprise 3. I put the disc in and restarted the server.

everything goes normal until the installation gets hung up on this line.

ehci-hcd 00:1d.7: USB 2.0 enabled, EHCI 1.00, driver 2003-jan-22

Technical specs following.

dell poweredge 1950 II

2x E5345 xeon quad core 2.33ghz 64 bit processors

PERCi5 RAID controller

2x 146GB hot swappable hard drives

12GB RAM
