Posted June 19, 201410 yr My computer had the starter 7 and windows 7 upgrade system intalled. It crashed and no longer works. I talk to Microsoft techs and they say its ok and will work - transfer the windows 7 os onto my current used laptop. Well no dice, after submitting my product key to them, Microsoft gave me the run around. Last night when I spoke with them they said a discount price was available because I did make the original purchase for it. Whats going on here ? Do I have to purchase windows 7 again ?
