Any other apps for porting photos from android?

Okay I have a question, I need some alternative to shotwell here as I find its porting of images from android via usb a pain as there are so many subfolders to go into.

Is there some way to make shotwell behave a little better or some other app I can install?

I just get annoyed by shotwells import methods.

I just used shotwell as it seemed to work with photo impoirting the best from android

And no airdroid is not an option, its not compatible with one of my devices, I need a all in one solution.
