Task Manager won't open.

When I open Task Manager in Windows 8 it provides an error and doesn't run. Also, when I open my McAfee LiveSafe anti-virus it doesn't open also. Sometimes when I use the Search charm, it would freeze then after two minutes it would come back again.

 

 

I think I may have a virus.
