Guest wei heng lim Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I bought a new laptop 2 days ago and it was working very well. However, it seems like I have 96 Windows Updates that I need to install, so I installed them and restarted the laptop. But I got an error message stating "Failure configuring Windows updates. Reverting changes" after it finishes configuring. And then it goes into a loop, going back to configuring after reverting the changes. I managed to get back to my desktop after performing a System Restore but my laptop has become very slow now. I checked the task manager and it showed this : http://i.imgur.com/L9L1WSS.png . Here's what I got from the troubleshooter : http://i.imgur.com/snXeuGV.png . After all that, it still goes into a loop whenever I try to install the Windows Updates. Sorry for the wall of text but I hope somebody can help me. If you need more information, feel free to ask! Continue reading... Quote
