Possible to have dual-boot Win-8.1 and Win-7 Ultimate on same computer?

Can I install x64 Win-8.1 on my computer but retain and still use the currently installed x64 Win-7 Ultimate OS in a dual-boot setup? Current Win-7 computer system is an HP HPE-180t with a 1PMTB-TK Intel "truckee" mobo, two separate internal 1T HDDs, NVIDIA 550 GTX graphics, and 12 GB memory.
