Guest JonathanMcIntyre Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I more or less ended with accidentally installing a virus named "SpeeDial". I've dealt with a similar problem before (delta search), meaning I had dealt with this kind of situation before, or so i thought. Noticing I had gotten another browser highjacker I thought i'd do what I did Delta Search, which was going to the control panel and uninstalling all the programs related to said virus, however this time whilst trying to uninstall Conduit Search Protect I recieved a error message saying that I did not have sufficient access, even though I'm logged in as a admin (100% sure I'm an admin, i tripple checked). So far I've tried to tried restarting the computer, running the microsoft system scan and I tried removing the folders in which Search Protect is located. I succeeded in removing the speedial folders but I was not able to touch the Search Protect as I was again told that I did not have sufficient access, and to contact the systems admin. So I'm sorta at a loss of what to do, any tips would be greatly appreciated! Continue reading... Quote
