Windows 8 System Restore Not accepting password

I did a system restore on my windows 8 laptop to a week or so back.

I have a local account and when completed it loaded the orange login screen with my user name. I typed in password and its not accepting it.

What can I do?

It is the correct password and i have not done a password repair disk.
