Windows 7 won't recognize second monitor

Hi,

 

recently i tried to attach a second monitor to my desktop, but it refuses to recognize the old one, the one i had first, now that it is not running over VGA. The new monitor only has a VGA in, so I had to try something else for the first monitor. Both of them definitely work, the DVI in on the first monitor works with the Dvi/HDMI cable i'm trying to use and a chromecast, and the new monitor, running over VGA, is detected and working properly.

 

My system:

 

AMD A10-7700K

 

Asus A55BM-A/USB3

 

1x4Gb G.Skill Sniper 2133MHz

 

First monitor: Acer X203h

 

New monitor: NEC MultiSync LCD1545V
