What is going on? Windows requires me to enter my product key?

So I randomly get this popup from windows saying i need to activate my windows product key. I says my key is being used by a different pc. I never gave my key to any PC or used it for any. Also I dont even have the key since I bought my computer from a retailer. I dont know where my key is or if I even have it. If i dont enter my key will my PC be disabled?
