Cannot install HP 6480 all-in-one printer

While attempting to re-install my HP 6480 printer (Windows 7) I get this error message:

The installer cannot access this Registry Key. Please ensure that the installer has access to the registry and click retry to continue installation.

Registry Key: HKey_Local_Machine\System
