I did both, two days later, the hard drive failed. I put in a new hard drive and attempted to use the recovery disc but it did not work. Will Microsoft send a recovery disc to people who have a legitimate product key? Did my hard drive failure negate my purchased copy of Windows 7 64bit Home edition that originally came with my computer? Continue reading... Quote
