Posted June 5, 201410 yr Hello, I'm desperate for some help with my laptop. I had some issues with menu tiles not working and not being able to update to 8.1 so I did a refresh. Everything works fine now except Windows update. There's over 100+ updates and it wont download any of them. ************************************ I've spoken to the answer techs and they've remotely accessed my laptop and turned off various services/processes and done scans, but they're not able to figure it out and referred me for a callback by a level 2 technician this morning but after repeatedly chasing them up on my side it is now the evening. I suspect this level 2 technician is just a man furiously searching Google, but if anyone has any other advice for me to follow, that'd be great. Continue reading...
