Guest Irisine Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Hello there. :) I am a ghost hunter and I have been having trouble burning my evp's onto disk. It is so weird. I click and drag the files I want to burn to the burn list and then I click burn. But then I get an error message that says that, "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while burning the file to the disc. For additional assistance, click Web Help." Web help does not provide an answer at all. It just says there isn't any information concerning the problem. That isn't very helpful. Anywho, here is the scoop on what has happened so far concerning me trying to fix this and all. I transfered these evp's onto the computer directly from a cassette recorder. I did this through wavepad. I found that I couldn't burn any evp's on my computer after this. So I transfered the evp's onto a flash drive and tried a different computer. It is a brand new computer mind you and trying to burn the evp's to disk on this computer did not work either. Same error message. In conclusion, I reason that the computers are not burning these files because there is something wrong with the files. I am not sure. It may be that they are named incorrectly somehow. Again, I am not sure of this, but it's the only thing I can fathom. I tried to rename the files (example: from wma to mp3. Do not try this because you will not be able to play those files nor rename them back again. I got screwed) but that didn't work either. Now I am at a complete loss. Perhaps It has something to do with the way some of these files were imported or something. But anywho, all I know is that it has to be the files. I think this may be the case because as I sit here, I am currently burning a cd with songs other than my evp's and it is coming out perfectly fine. No problems at all. So the burner runs perfect. It is getting these particular sounds to burn that is difficult. Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong here? It would be very much appreciated. I have been wanting to burn these paranormal sounds for the longest to share with fellow ghost enthusiast. Thank you. Continue reading... Quote
