Where can I get a copy of Windows XP Media Edition 2005?

My HP a1510n needed a new hard drive and I, like a lot of users, did not create recovery discs.

 

 

I am now trying to locate a copy of Windows XP Media Edition 2005 so I can run my bank's check scanning app (their scanning software won't work with Win 7 or Win 8).

 

 

I loaded a copy of Windows XP professional but get errors against:

 

(?) Other Devices

 

(?) OtherPCI Bridge Device

 

(?) PCI Simple Communications Controller

 

(?) Unknown Device

 

(?) Video Controller (VGA Compatible)

 

 

Even though The Network adaters (1394 Net Adapter) is "clean" I cannot connect to the Internet to find any updates to these dvices in error.

 

(I'm sure it's "Other PCI Bridge Device" driver that's killing me, but cannot find and driver that I can put on a zip drive and try to update the "rogue" machine).

 

 

Any help greatly appreciated.
