Guest Aldo A. GtZ. C. Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I had to edit this post, because I was giving poor information about my problem... Well here comes again... I decided to give maintenance to my laptop so I formatted it last night, then today at morning I started with the windows updates (was the first thing i did, so I haven't installed programs). It started to download like 110 updates, when finished, asked me to restart, and I did it. As other times, it configure the first 30% before to restart, and then when it restart got stuck in the message of "Failure configuring Windows updates...". It takes like 20-30 minutes to restart, and when it does, happens again, i mean restart and the same message. So I can't log in or do anything. Some features: Laptop: Toshiba Qosmio x875 Processor: Intel core i7-3630QM CPU 2.40GHz RAM: 12GB System: Windows 8 64-bit GPU: Nvidia GTX 670M 3GB Has 2 HDD of 500GB each one, don't know the model or brand I haven't installed antivirus yet, actually I uninstalled Norton to install Kaspersky later, but I'm stuck with the actual problem. I bought this laptop like 14 months ago, is the first time that this problem appear. I haven't tried some steps of the links because some of them need to log in. Thank you, hope someone can help me.
