* Original Title: ATI AMD Radeon hd 6370m has been crashing and error messages pop out

Hi. I am using another computer of mine to type this as the computer which is currently facing problems is not able to even proceed to the desktop.

specs of computer with problems:

product company: Lenovo

windows edition : Windows 8 Pro (activated)

processor: intel core i5-2410m cpu @ 2.30GHz 2.30GHz

installed memory: 6.00gb

system type : 64-bit operating system

graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6370M series

heres how it goes:

it starts with some distortion on the lenovo icon

the windows icon then appears and the graphics are terrible with strips of random colours going down vertically

it was able to process pass that part and then a blank screen appeared for a few moments

then the screen has checkered pattern all over

i waited a few moments and was able to hear the sound after logining in but it turns blank again and restarts this process loops again and again

occasionally i would see a distorted blue screen with words on them before it restarts

i was able to pick up two types of error codes when it was quite clear (0x000001) and (VIDEO_ TDR_FAILURE)

other times it switches to the recovery page after restarting i did not try the restorage restarting or refreashing system options as i do not want to lose files

there are times when it really does login and i could do some stuff before it crashes again and the process loops again and when i got in i used this com to send driver pagages using a thumbdrive to the computer witth problems and delete the exixsting driver before applying the new one.

this was only able to allow the lenovo and windows icon load normally with no distortions at times

please help me!
