So I found out my Hard disk doesn't have long and i would like to install a SATA drive. I have a pc which has 2 hard disks and i want to take the SATA drive out and put the new SATA drive in. The new SATA drive is from an old laptop that is running windows 7 and the pc i want to put it in is running windows XP. Can i install the new SATA disk then change the boot order to SATA then start up in windows 7 or will the 2 OS conflict? Please help as i dont have much time till the hard disk dies. Also i dont have the windows 7 nor the xp installation disc as it did not come with it.
