Introduced on-stage by Craig Federighi, the new app is built with iCloud in mind, with a new look to fit with the OS X Yosemite visual style and "buttery smooth" scrolling. The app introduces many familiar features from iOS, including Moments, pinch-to-zoom for collections and scrubbing. The new Photos for Mac also offers the same color and light adjustment meters as its iOS equivalent. The app arrives along with new iCloud pricing tiers, giving users 5GB free, 20GB for $3.99 per month and 200GB for $3.99 per month. Apple also showed off a new version of Photos for iOS.
