Guest Brody22 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I am running a Dell Inspiron N5030 with a Windows 7 Home Premium Operating System. My laptop has worked well for the last 4 years (except 6 months ago I had to replace the hard drive. Then all of a sudden my laptop shuts down and I turn it back on and it does startup repair and finds says that it can't automatically fix the problem. I check the details and it says that the root cause is a corrupt registry. Some of the repair actions is said it did was a Registry rollback but it had an error code 0x0 It won't start in safe mode and I can't do a system restore and it won't let me do a sfc \scannow. Almost everytime I try a chkdsk it stops at a certain point. It also won;t start in safe mode. Can someone please tell me how to fix the registry without re-installing windows. Continue reading...
