Trying to reinstall Windows XP on a Laptop but the Valid and Legal license key isn't accepted

Hi there

I have been trying for a while now to get Windows XP reinstalled on an old laptop, simply to get it working again but the license key on the certificate is not working.

This is very frustrating as I know that the key is valid and that it is legal. The sticker is still stuck to the bottom of the laptop and is still legible so I have been taking it from the source it was provided, but still is does not work.

I am trying to install Windows XP Home on to an Acer laptop. The key is D22HK-4KP96-BYPB8-YYGQY-4VDHW.

Please can someone confirm whether this code is still good to use and if it is not, please explain why....
