Baffled By Windows

Hi:

 

My problem began about a week ago out of the blue, and I had done not a thing. I read up on my error message, and have been noting they all say it is because I tried to install Windows 7 on a Windows 8 system, which I did far from. The message I get is follows: (upon start or restart at a black screen)

 

 

File:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Windows\system32\winload.efi

 

status: 0x0000428

 

Digital signature couldn't be verified.

 

 

Now here is the catch: When I escape out of this I get yet another black screen about proceeding with another OS or Windows 8 OS.

 

 

Here is my problem, I have not gone near Windows 7 as of yet, though I do have a copy here at my home. I have not tried to install it though I've given it some thought since I purchased this new computer, an Asus X552EA, due to problems in Windows 8 that don't suit me personally, though I've gotten around some. So, even though no Windows 7 has been near my computer, according to it, and the world, it has. HELP!!!!
