Hi everyone. im new here.

i would like to ask about allocating drive

 

my HDD Ext (WD my passport) wont appear. so i check into computer management, and my drive unallocated

when i try to allocated by following method

it says : the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error

 

so everyone please.. is there any solution about this??

 

i've tried to update the firmware, WD Essential, WD utilities

 

but it not solve the problem..

when i try to checkdisk by promptcomand but i dont know how to put it because the drive isnt there...

 

please help me..
