MediaPlayer 12.2 Update Adware

Recently browsing NexusMods (Skyrim), I found myself infected with multiple adware. I've installed JKT, Malwarebytes, AdwCleaner, and Herd Protect as supplemental adware removal tools.

 

 

After running all 4 programs, and deleting the files recommended (while also repairing Registry values suggested by JKT, I restarted the computer to run a secondary sweep.

to check to see if the Adware is still affecting my computer, I went to MSN, Gamesradar on GOOGLE CHROME, etc to see if it still affected. To my expectatations, the Mediaplayer popup along with other adware still affected my computer.

 

 

HOWEVER, when I went to use INTERNET EXPLORER, there was no MSN adware popups, nor Gamesradar popups. It was adware free as i was concerned

 

 

I suspect that the Adwcleaner detections are the main problem, but everytime i use a clean up from ADwcleaner, the detections always pop up again.

 

 

 

Additional Setups:

 

 

Uninstalled all Programs that were installed without permission that day

 

Reset all browsers

 

Use Disk Cleanup
