I have a read cross next to my speaker icon on my task bar, yet I can hear a sound when an email comes in, but cannot hear any videos or music. I have tried everything. Was trying to delete the Windows Player file as was following someone's answer, but every time I tried to delete it, the computer said the file was open but it was NOT open - so that is my problem no sound and stumped when I tried to fix it! Can anyone help please without giving me rubbish to download that costs money to fix all your system"errors"?! Many thanks!
