Introducing myself to the community.

Good morning/afternoon/evening/night.

 

On joining, I received an invite to come here to introduce myself, so here I am. This is my second post (after asking a question about a really troubling KMS-related graphics problem).

 

I'm not all that knowledgeable about GNU/Linux, but I'm not that bad neither. Perhaps I know more about 8-bit and 16-bit home computer systems than anything since the 21st century.

 

I'm determined to get Arch Linux set up as my main workhorse distribution, and going through all the guides. Just recently learned a lot about LVM. Enjoying doing things the hard way.

 

I have used Linux here and there since Slackware 3.4 ELF... can't remember the year, but there's nothing like taking back full control of your computer after years of being stuck on Win XP, right?
