How can I install Windows 8 64-bit over Windows 8.1 32-bit? My laptop has a 64-bit CPU, but when I had a hard drive error and I reinstalled Windows 7 32-bit(this was before I had Windows 8) then when I bought Windows 8 and installed it, and it installed as a 32-bit Windows since I used the digital install. Then I updated my PC to Windows 8.1, and I recently found out that Microsoft made a program to make a 64-bit installation disk with a .iso file. So to recap, I wanted to know how can I install Windows 8 64-bit over Windows 8.1 32-bit, and would I able able to keep my files and settings? Thanks in advance!
