Windows Media Player saturation and contrast are too high

Hi there,

I'm playing video WMV and MP4 files in VLC and DivX players and they look just fine, but when I open them in Windows Media Player the saturation and contrast is way high. It's also impossible to readjust the brightness/contrast/hue/saturation using the WMP settings to fix the issue. It seems that there are no solutions to this problem anywhere, not even in some older similar threads.

By the way, turning Windows Features on and off or using the WMP troubleshoot tool doesn't solve anything. Any thoughts?
