My Asus windows 8 laptop has virus/malware.

My Asus windows 8 laptop has virus/malware. When last using well I was prompted to update Firefox, and other things that update automatically. So I did not update. Next day I turned on laptop and had to wait for downloading. When done message said,thanks for buying product with preinstalled microsoft windows. I think it reinstalled windows 8 from scratch. Everything looks totally different. Also, both Firefox and explorer have stacks of windows and tabs opening and jumping around unasked, including ****, adds and competitions. Then firefox or explorer says it has to close. Microsoft windows 8 preinstalled safety scanner claims nothing is wrong,no problems. So whetever it is has that tricked too. Also other security measures that normally could be clicked don't have that option now. Please help. thanks very much, karin
