Guest JSladek Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 I moved over to PCLOS-KDE-64 from Mepis-11 a couple of weeks ago. I have two Windows radio programs (MMTTY and Digipan) that worked fine on Mepis under wine. However, on PCLOS, when I key to transmit with either program (keyline via DTR on ttyS1), the program immediately shuts down - crashes). On either program, the transmitter is momentarily keyed when the program starts - that tells me that the keyline interface is good at the time the program is loaded. In both programs it appears that that the crash occurs at the same time the transmitted audio starts. I get the same effect when I run the audio test in the wine configurator. In Mepis, I was using wine v1.7.17 and now in Linux it is wine v1.6.2 (stable). It is quite likely I have used the v1.6.2 in Mepis as I updated wine consistently over the years. I would consider an underlying problem in the PCLOS build, but all multimedia functions appear to operate normally (I just have simple audio requirements). Anyone have any ideas?
