hello i bought a new toshiba laptop and for a week or so the laptop it was fine but when this windows update came up i selected to do it. so after doing so it restarted and came up with the exact same message but this time it would not finish, stating that failure to configure and not completing even if left over night to do so and i turned it off after getting frustrated and it stays there and does not finish. after trying to go into the bios several times it wont go it goes straight to the update and automatically fails i have lots of experience with desktop computers and have my a+ for that but laptops and windows 8 both are throwing me off so any help would be greatly appreciated.
